When will stretch die?

It's clingy, it's shiny, it's cheap looking.
No wonder so many of the major labels sell them.
And like this one, they rarely have inset collars with decent ribbing. The Puma Daily looks like a bulky rolled neckband.
They do 10 different stretch tees, then one or two 100% natural fiber.
Yet the stretch tees always have a nicer slim cut, which is the opposite of how it should be.
I can't stretch out the 'stretch' because it comes back to it's exact shape... so why make it tighter? All natural should be tighter, because when you stretch it out, it actually stretches where you stretch... I can actually get a fit I'm looking for.
